Performer Terms
Effective date: 4 October 2026
These terms apply in addition to the Terms & Conditions if you use GigArmy as a performer, act or entertainment supplier.
1. Your status
You are an independent performer or business. GigArmy is not your agent, manager or employer and does not guarantee bookings, income or exposure. Each booking is a direct agreement between you and the venue or organiser.
2. Your profile
- Describe your act, genres, experience and fees honestly. Use only photos, videos and music you have the right to use.
- Give a base area (a town or area) and travel distance — never a home address.
- Keep your availability calendar up to date; venues rely on it, and inaccurate availability may affect SOS matching and your standing.
3. Insurance, equipment and permissions
You are responsible for any public liability insurance, equipment safety (for example PAT testing), licences or permissions your act needs, and for following venue safety rules. Venues may ask to see evidence before confirming.
4. Bookings and cancellations
Only apply for or accept gigs you can do. Once confirmed, perform as agreed. If you must cancel, do it in GigArmy as early as possible so the venue can find cover. See the Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy and SOS Gig Terms.
5. Off-platform bookings
For 12 months after GigArmy introduces you to a venue or organiser, where a GigArmy fee or control applies, do not move a booking with them off the platform to avoid it. You remain free to work with venues you already knew or found yourself. See section 7 of the Terms.
6. Spotlight, What's On and posters
Your published profile may be featured in Spotlight by fair rotation, and confirmed bookings may be listed on What's On (only if you or the venue choose) or turned into a Share Gig poster with your public name and picture and permanent "BOOKED BY GIGARMY" branding. You choose whether to share posters.
