SOS Gig Terms
Effective date: 4 October 2026
GigArmy SOS helps venues find urgent cover when a booking falls through. These terms apply in addition to the Terms & Conditions and Booking Policy.
1. Raising an SOS
Only raise an SOS for a genuine, urgent need with accurate details (act type, date, start time, duration, fee, payment method, equipment, general area). Cancel it promptly if you no longer need cover. SOS requests close automatically once they expire or are filled.
2. Who is alerted
GigArmy automatically alerts suitable performers based on act type, area, travel distance and availability, within capped limits. Performers can turn SOS alerts off in their settings. Being alerted is not an offer of work.
3. Responding
Only respond if you can genuinely do the gig at the stated time and fee. A response is not a booking.
4. Confirmation
The SOS becomes a booking only when the venue confirms a performer and GigArmy shows it as confirmed. From that moment the normal booking responsibilities apply, and a late cancellation or no-show on an SOS gig is treated seriously.
5. No guarantee of cover
GigArmy cannot guarantee that cover will be found, that a performer will respond, or that alerts will be delivered instantly (email and push depend on third-party networks).
