Reviews & User Content Policy
Effective date: 4 October 2026
This policy covers everything users post: profiles, photos, videos, venue galleries, gig listings, GigChat messages and reviews. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. You own your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give GigArmy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt it (for example resizing or cropping) to run and promote the platform, including Spotlight, What's On and Share Gig posters. You must have all rights needed, including permission from anyone identifiable.
2. Reviews
- Reviews must be based on your genuine experience of a real engagement.
- No fake reviews, paid or incentivised reviews without disclosure, reviews of yourself or a competitor, or reviews written to pressure someone.
- Be honest and fair; criticism is fine, abuse is not.
3. Content that is not allowed
- unlawful, defamatory, threatening, hateful or discriminatory content;
- sexually explicit content, or content involving children inappropriately;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or privacy;
- personal contact details or private addresses of other people;
- spam, scams, malware or misleading content.
4. Moderation
Anyone can report content. We review reports and may hide or remove content, issue warnings or strikes, or suspend accounts. Decisions are made by a person and can be reversed. We are not obliged to monitor all content but act on what we become aware of.
5. Share Gig posters
Posters use only public booking and profile information. The "BOOKED BY GIGARMY" branding is part of the poster and must not be removed, hidden or altered. Sharing is always your choice.
6. Reporting illegal content
To report content you believe is illegal or infringes your rights, use the report button or email hello@gigarmy.co.uk with details.
