Payments, Fees & Refund Policy
Effective date: 4 October 2026
This policy describes how money works on GigArmy today and how any GigArmy charges would work if switched on.
1. How performance fees are paid today
Performance fees are agreed and paid directly between the venue or organiser and the performer. Each gig shows the agreed method — currently "cash on the night" or "bank transfer". "Pay through GigArmy" is shown as coming soon and is not available.
GigArmy does not process performance payments, hold money on anyone's behalf, or see or store bank or card details.
2. GigArmy fees
GigArmy does not currently charge subscription or booking fees. Our pricing page describes planned plans and fees. No fee will apply unless it has been clearly shown to you, with its amount and when it is charged, and you have actively agreed before it applies. Founding 200 entitlements are free and do not renew into paid plans automatically.
3. Tax and invoices
Performers are responsible for their own tax and National Insurance, and for issuing any invoices. Venues and organisers are responsible for their own obligations. GigArmy does not employ performers.
4. Refunds
Performance fees: because payment is made directly between the parties, any refund or deposit return is a matter between them under their agreement and the law. Consumers keep their statutory rights against the business they booked.
GigArmy charges (if introduced): refunds and cancellation rights are explained in the Subscription & Pro Account Terms, and statutory rights always apply.
5. If in-app payments are introduced
Payments would be handled by a regulated payment provider. We will update this policy and our Privacy Policy before launch, and explain any fees, payout timing and refund handling before you use it.
